In fact, it would be a fine thing if Mr Googlebot would visit our site. At the moment he is studiously ignoring poor little Twiggles.
Thank goodness the web is not totally dominated by Google just yet - I’m delighted to say we seem to be making a lot of new friends even without the big search engines.
What the world evidently needs is a custom-built, niche targeted search engine just for online comics and web comics.

As well as today’s comic, I just added two more strips to the webcards area. The site is filling out nicely now - I think we’ve hit a rhythm.

Incidentally, for you trivia afficianados, the use of characters such as “@#$%*!!” to represent swearing or bad language is called a grawlix. Mort Walker, the creator of Beetle Bailey coined the word in the 1960s.
Along with today’s strip, I’m really pleased to tell you that we have a new wallpaper design in our downloads area.
Secondly, you will spot a new link at the top right of the comic strip. This takes you to our brand-new e-card area where you can send Head in the Clouds comics to your friends and family, complete with your own message. It’s free, of course, easy to use and cards can be scheduled for delivery on a selected date, and picked up any time.
We’ll add new cards and strips as we go along; please let me know if there’s a specific strip you wish to send and I’ll make sure it’s available.
We’ve been running the site for a couple of weeks now, and things seem to be working really nicely. To everyone who was kind enough to give us feedback, subscribe or link to us: thank you very much. We appreciate your support and interest, and I hope we keep you entertained for a long time to come. We’re still just warming up!
Something I’ve noticed is that the characters are starting to take on a life of their own, and I confess that as I go about my day, I sometimes find myself wondering, “what would Twiggles do?”
It’s getting to the point that occasionally I start a strip with one idea, but by the 3rd or 4th panel Twiggles or Cobbe has taken the story somewhere else because that’s what they want to do, not what I want them to do! At this rate I’ll have a rebellion on my hands, and knowing Twiggles, it will be catered.
