WWTD?
We’ve been running the site for a couple of weeks now, and things seem to be working really nicely. To everyone who was kind enough to give us feedback, subscribe or link to us: thank you very much. We appreciate your support and interest, and I hope we keep you entertained for a long time to come. We’re still just warming up!
Something I’ve noticed is that the characters are starting to take on a life of their own, and I confess that as I go about my day, I sometimes find myself wondering, “what would Twiggles do?”
It’s getting to the point that occasionally I start a strip with one idea, but by the 3rd or 4th panel Twiggles or Cobbe has taken the story somewhere else because that’s what they want to do, not what I want them to do! At this rate I’ll have a rebellion on my hands, and knowing Twiggles, it will be catered.

Those of you with a keen eye will see that Twiggles (the short one) looks slightly different to the bird in the strips. The sketch was the very first version of the duo, Cobbe (the tall one) has remained the same, but Twiggles has become less spikey. Perhaps, we’ll upload a few more of the early coloured strips for you to see.

Funnily enough, I was joking with Nick about that the other day, and when I said I was pretty sure he modelled Twiggles on me, he said, “how could I not do.”
