i dont get it.
It’s all in his mind - in fact he’s got his eyes shut and is simply leaping around the tree squawking.
Cobbes is filming him secretly for blackmail purposes at some later date.
that’s kind of what i thought, but the 3rd panel confused me — couldn’t tell what it was trying to show.

Would probably have helped if there was some indication that it was in the tree in the last panel
