Hey that was me who had the penguin theory!

  3. admin

All credit to you. And a fabulous theory it was too. :)

    hahahahaha

(To quote Mouser. There’s simply no better way to say it.)

My guess is definitely a Great Bustard.

Description on Wikipedia is “The male of this huge bird is possibly the heaviest living flying animal”

Though it’s not normally yellow… Can birds get hepatitis? :)

(And considering how close they are to being extinct, I can understand how concerned extra terrestrial carrots wanted to save a few…)

The bustard! What a great find :)

    ‘The bustard’…

Ooh, I see some nice name puns coming up :D

Pen = Head + Guin = White, therefore Whitehead, Twiggles is clearly yellow (although my 3yo daughter gets white and yellow mixed up all the time).

Twiggles is clearly a Dodo :)

This is getting alarmingly educational. I dread to think what Twiggles would think about being called a Dodo. Maybe we’ll have to find out… ;)

Hah, I just read that again, just last night - from the Welsh it said - “The Secret Life of Words/How English became English” by Henry Hitchings. I only on the first chapter yet, wouldn’t highly recommended it on what I’ve read so far, but always an interesting topic, for me at any rate ;-)
