someone’s going to have to explain the jokes in this week’s strip to me
Ok so they got sucked into Twiggles’ PC program. And as we can see, they are now “low resolution” images of themselves. Er, ha ha?
And as you know, “aliasing” is another word for those low-res jaggies. So the title is an even worse pun…
ah i just got the “there goes are resolution” pun! clever bastard you are.
now what about those words on the laptop?
Just like in the movie TRON pulled into a computerrized world
RUR is Rossum’s Universal Robots, from a movie made in the 1920’s. In fact it introduced the word “robot” into the English language.
MIMA was a thinking machine carrying the memories of all humanity from an old sci fi story.
